WILBUR ROSS SPEAKS AT HARVARD CLUB OF CYPRUS EVENT

On Tuesday, 28 June 2016, Harvard Club of Cyprus organised an open speech by the world known financier Wilbur Ross on ‘The angry Voters in America and Europe: How they influenced the political scene and the implications for the corporate world’. We are thrilled to inform you that the speech proved to be a great success and received many flattering comments!

The speech has been attended by more than 350 high profile participants, including the former President of the Republic of Cyprus, two Ministers of the government (including the Minister of Finance), a number of Ambassadors in Cyprus, the representative of IMF in Cyprus, the former European Commissioner of Health, all BoD and Directors of Bank of Cyprus, which was hosting the event, and a good number of academics and business executives.

The event received pre and post coverage from all four National television channels and all major newspapers in Cyprus. We attach the live stream link of the speech, some links to this publicity and some photos for your information.

We believe that the event fully achieved its objectives which were to raise the image of Harvard in Cyprus, add value to our members and Cypriot society, appear as pioneer to world challenges and make our Club’s presence known.

The organization was excellent, the presentation was of high standards and the speaker managed to attract the elite from both in Cyprus and abroad. A small cocktail followed the speech for bonding and connecting.
